We're Avo and Nora.
We’re a husband and wife team with big lash dreams. Silk Touch Lashes is our third child, and it all began four years ago from our dining room.
Our journey started seven years ago when we left our home country due to instability and conflict to start again in Scotland. We didn’t have a lot, but we are two headstrong individuals who were determined to make a new life for ourselves and our children.
Nora is a former lawyer who retrained as a make-up artist and lash technician, while Avo also joined her on the lash training journey.
You’ll now find Nora teaching new technicians and lashing clients each day, while Avo makes a special appearance on training days to teach lash theory while also running the business from behind-the-scenes.

We have big dreams for Silk Touch Lashes
We soon outgrew our at-home dining room set-up, and moved into our purpose-designed unit to open not only a lounge, but a training academy too. We used this base to trial and test products which we eventually brought to market under our own brand.
Two times winners...
We’ve been hampered by lockdowns and lack of space, but we have persevered and gone on to win multiple beauty awards at a national level as Eyelash Extensions Specialists of the Year in 2019 and 2022.
Today, our lash lounge operates six days a week, serving an average of 70 customers. Our academy trains multiple courses each month, producing around 15 new lash artists. Additionally, our products are distributed throughout the UK, experiencing steady growth.

We're determined to promote best-in-class lashing, from training the next generation of lash artists to reach their potential and to developing products that excite and improve the world of professional lash extensions.
